30 years of excellence has had an incredible impact on the lives of thousands of choristers from across the country and their families. We asked three choristers from different choirs about their Gondwana Choirs experience:

“Challenging repertoire and musical excellence is the best part of 10 years of performing with the Sydney Children’s Choir.”

Gabriel, SCC Young Men’s Choir, Sydney NSW

Supporting the creation of new work helps develop the musical skills of our young musicians from an early age by exposing them to new and complex music written by living composers and directed by Australia’s leading artists.

“I love being surrounded by incredibly skilled musicians, conductors and singers. It’s such an inspiring experience.”

Josie, Gondwana Voices, Albany WA

Gondwana Choirs provides world-class training to 800 talented young musicians each year. These choristers and our alumni are the next generation of audiences and advocates for the arts.

“Not only has GICC broadened my musical skills, it has developed my independence and helped shape my world view.”

Stephanie, Gondwana Indigenous Children’s Choir, Cairns QLD

We are proud that our song gives voice to young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians, who tell their stories through extraordinary collaborations and performances.
