Presented by Gondwana Choirs, Songfest brings together young people from the Cairns region for some fun and inspirational days of choral singing. Our Senior Songfest Choir will come together during the week under the direction of renowned South African conductor, Dr Michael Barrett, before performing in a free concert in the beautiful acoustic of St Monica’s Cathedral.
We are delighted that the Gondwana Indigenous Children’s Choir and the Sydney Children’s Choir will also be performing in this concert. A true choral showcase!
