January 17th for ‘Choral Kaleidescope’ and January 19th for ‘Rising Up’
Hear Australia’s most talented young singers in these two uplifting concerts, including the acclaimed Gondwana Voices and Gondwana Chorale at Verbrugghen Hall, Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Macquarie Street.
The concerts mark the conclusion of Gondwana National Choral School which brings together 200 of Australia’s most talented young musicians for a ten-day intensive season of rehearsals, workshops and performances. The choristers form four choirs – Gondwana Chorale, Gondwana Voices, Gondwana Novus and Gondwana Singers – to work under the direction of some of Australia’s finest choral conductors and music educators including Artistic Director and Founder Lyn Williams AM, Paul Holley OAM, Carl Crossin OAM, AJ America, Hugh Lydon, Rowan Johnston, Natalie Gooneratne and Lachlan Massey.
