The outstanding musicianship of national choir Gondwana Voices and the rich vibrant sound of the Gondwana Indigenous Children’s Choir will be heard through northern Queensland when the ensembles unite for a two week tour beginning in early October.

Gondwana Voices, a national children’s choir for treble singers, will be led by renowned conductor Mark O’Leary while the organisation’s Founder and Artistic Director, Lyn Williams OAM will conduct her Indigenous choir – one of the most exciting young performance groups in the country.

The young singers will take the stage in Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville, Innisfail and Cairns.  When the tour hits its last stop – Cairns – locals are in for a special treat when the singers are joined by the Australian Chamber Orchestra’s Inspire Quartet.

A highlight of this Gondwana tour is Songfest – where local school children perform in concerts with the touring choirs in Rockhampton, Townsville and Cairns.
