PRESENTED BY CITY RECITAL HALL AND GONDWANA CHOIRS
Immaculately drilled, the young voices offered an object lesson in choral discipline, singing with focussed tone and palpable enthusiasm. Limelight Magazine
World-renowned children’s choir Gondwana Voices celebrates its 20th anniversary with only one Sydney performance of Southern Lights, Northern Lights before embarking on a major tour of Northern Europe and Iceland. Led by its founder Lyn Williams OAM and Principal Guest Conductor Mark O’Leary, the choir performs music close to its heart: new Australian works that capture the mystery and grandeur of our land. They will be joined by 300 Sydney Children’s Choir choristers from the Senior Choir, Young Men’s Choir and younger ensembles of SCC.
Purity of sound, a mesmerising performance style and courageous programing all make Gondwana Voices’ performances unrivaled. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience one of the world’s truly great children’s performing ensembles.
